UPDATE 03/25/2020 : Benjamin Franklin Plumbing will remain on duty even though we are under a “Shelter in Place” directive. We are considered part of an Essential Critical Infrastructure Workforce that are necessary to maintaining the safety, sanitation, and health of the nation.
Dear Customers,
As the news about the COVID-19 continues to develop, we would like to communicate with you regarding this important issue. The health and safety of our customers, employees, and community is our greatest concern. That is why we have implemented procedures based on information from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
This is a fast-evolving issue and we encourage you to continuously refer to the website of the CDC for updates: www.cdc.gov.
We have instructed our employees to take these common-sense precautions:
- Take their temperature daily before their shift.
- Stay home if they are sick, and notify us immediately if they come in contact with someone who is ill.
- Greet others in ways other than hand-shaking and maintain CDC recommended guidelines for social distance.
- Show up to your home with a mask and gloves.
- Minimize the risk of infection by conscientious hand washing and sneezing/coughing into a sleeve or tissue, and reemphasized the importance of hand washing.
Our expectation from you, our customer, is that you inform us immediately if someone in your home becomes sick. If you feel you need to cancel your service appointment due to illness, please let us know and rest assured that we will welcome you back when you are ready.
Additionally, since there has been a toilet paper shortage in the area, you may be tempted to use something else in the event you run out. We want to remind you to never flush anything other than toilet paper down the drain. Paper towels, baby wipes, and the likes can wreak havoc on your pipes.
During these uncertain times we are offering our $79 drain cleaning special. Remember a FLUSH beats a FULL HOUSE! And we will even bring you Toilet paper with every call!
Authorities are calling for the next few months to be full of uncertainty and considerable change. We’ve included a few of our current offers to help you take care of any lingering plumbing issues you may have put off.
As a community, if we look out for each other, we will get through this trying time. We encourage anyone with questions or concerns on this issue to contact our office directly.
Best wishes,
The Benjamin Franklin Plumbing Family
